H&M Home
So, I am not sure many people know yet that H&M (yes, the clothing store) has a Home line too! I came across it a while ago when I was on their website and fell in love. I had no idea!!! Their Home line is absolutely fantastic, very much my style, and super reasonable. I have been drooling over a few things online and finally decided to order. I didn’t go crazy or anything. I actually just ordered two items, but I am so pleased that I will definitely be going back for more. The first thing I bought was this little wooden crate looking tray that I wanted to use in my kitchen.
I wanted a small basket or tray next to my stove to house my olive oil and any spices or utensils I needed for cooking. It fits perfectly on my counter. I love it.
My other purchase I am very excited about! It is a tea towel that I loved so much I needed to have it on my kitchen wall, so I made it into another DIY tea towel art hanging. It always makes me so happy to find things that can be used as art, especially things that aren’t meant for that purpose. And this project cost me less than $10.oo to make. Even better!
Instead of just throwing it in a frame and calling it a day, I wanted to actually make a frame for this one so I could customize the size of it. I went to Lowes and bought a few pieces of wood and cut them with our jigsaw at home. I used a darker stain from Rustoleum that I already had, and put the frame together with some corner brackets. I then just used a staple gun to staple the towel to the frame. Easy as that!!!
There are just so many things I would love to order from the H&M Home line. I am still so surprised how much it works with my style and how inexpensive some of their items are. Here are some other goodies I have my eye on. Definitely give it a look at the H&M Home site.
Oh my goodness! Love what you did with the tea towel! I just checked out their website, amazing!
