Rustic Christmas Living Room
Happy Monday, my sweet friends. Can you even believe that Christmas is three short weeks away? Crazy right!? I have a confession to make. I haven’t even started my shopping yet. Every year I usually have it all done by Black Friday, but this year I am majorly slacking! I need to get on it! Shopping for all the kiddos in my family is seriously my favorite thing ever, so I’m looking forward to it! And as Christmas gets closer and closer I am getting more and more excited to spend it with all our family and do as many festive holiday things as possible.
Speaking of festive holiday things. It’s week three of our Christmas Home Tour blog hop series! If you are just joining in on the fun, Ashley from Cherished Bliss invited myself and a handful of other super talented bloggers to share our Christmas decorated homes, one room at a time for four weeks with all of you! You can find our Christmas Entryways here, our Christmas Trees here, and today we are sharing our Christmas Living Rooms! Have fun looping from one blog to the next, and if my friend Lauren from Blesser House sent you, thank you for stopping by! I am thrilled you are here! Rustic Christmas Living Room, here we come!
In my living room, I stuck with the green, natural, rustic theme. Since our entryway, living room, dining room, and kitchen are all open concept, obviously I wanted them all to flow into one another with the same look. I used a lot of pine greenery, wood accents, and pops of white. Like I said, it was so hard for me to stick to not adding in red, but I think I did a pretty good job of not caving!
The Christmas Tree Farm sign was another DIY sign of mine that I made. I love this one because I weathered it with a dark hunter green paint and I love how the stained wood shows through. The little reindeer was something I grabbed at Michaels and also stained to go along with my look. I love stained pieces guys, hard to tell?
My pop of white in this room are these little Target Dollar Spot ceramic houses that I am obsessed with! You may see them again in another room next week! Aren’t they adorable!? And you can throw a candle in back and they light up. Love love love these! Especially set on a stack of old books!
Hope you liked my Rustic Christmas Living Room!

Next Monday, we finish up with our Christmas Dining Room! See you then!
I have been looking for a sofa just like that! Do you mind sharing where you purchased it? It’s perfect!
Hi Ahsley,
Love your decorations. I tried to do the all white and gold this year, but the family did miss the red. So back to red, green and gold. I was wondering where you purchased your coffee table. I’ve been looking for one for awhile now and this looks like a good sturdy one.
Hi there, do you have DIY instructions available for a sign like this Christmas one?
I do! You can find how I do most of my signs from this post: https://www.littleglassjar.com/2014/10/15/diy-farmers-market-sign/ OR if you have a Silhouette machine, you can just cut out the stencil and paint over it! Hope this helps!
Looks awesome Ashley!
Thanks so much sweet friend!
I love your decor! Since you mentioned that red was hard to resist, I would love to see this with a little red added too. Either way, lovely.
Honestly, I cannot wait to add the red back in next Christmas! I did miss it a lot this year, even though the change in color was nice 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping in Barbara!
I love the simple, rustic touches!! It all looks so pretty!
Thanks Jen! 🙂
Love, love, love your Christmas decor, Ashley. Cheers and Happy Holidays, Ardith
Thank you Ardith! Hope your holidays were the BEST! Xo!
