Halloween Boo Basket Ideas | 2024
Start a yearly tradition with your kids by creating these fun Halloween Boo Baskets. An easy way to start the celebration of spooky season and enjoy some festive activities together.
I love a good seasonal or holiday tradition. Especially one that I’ve started with my kids, that they now look forward to every year. I do a lot of these themed baskets, but this one has been my favorite to put together so far.
Halloween has always been my favorite holiday, especially when I was my girls age. There are so many festive things to do in the fall, and what kid doesn’t love the fun of all things Halloween.
This year I found some extra cute goodies for their Halloween boo baskets to share. I make each of my girls their own personal baskets (right now they get the same things, because there will probably be tears otherwise…), and I do one big family boo basket for everyone to share.
Individual Halloween Boo Baskets for Kids
I scored these absolutely adorable ghost jelly baskets at Target, probably right when they put them out. They sold out so fast at the stores nearby. It was meant to me I guess!
You can call me a collector of sorts, because I always grab what I know will be great for these themed baskets when I see them, even way earlier than necessary.
My go-to stores to fill these baskets are usually always Target, Home Goods, Dollar Tree, and Walmart.
Target has the best little finds in their Dollar Spot. Home Goods is an absolute must for the fun seasonal napkins, cups, plates, etc (brands like Meri Meri and My Minds Eye are the best ever). Dollar Tree has so many good finds, and if your Walmart has a dollar section, they have some goodies too.
The goal is not to spend a ton of money. Just cheap little things to add some joy to their days.
First up in the individual Halloween Boo Baskets is some fun slime, and of course pumpkin shaped poppers. My kids love both an extreme amount.
Then we have a super fun little Halloween flashlight, and Halloween stickers.
And last I found these two light up Halloween cars, and cute pumpkin shirts. I love to add in either seasonal pajamas or festive shirts.
Halloween Boo Baskets for the Family
For the family boo baskets I love to add in mostly fun things to use when we eat, or bake. Halloween themed sprinkles, napkins, plates, cups, whatever it may be. My kids always get more excited about a meal or snack if it has a theme.
I found these large baking cups to either use for baking or mostly just to fill with snacks. Sprinkles are a must, always.
Ghost napkins? Say less. Skeleton forks, spoons, and knifes, yes please.
I found these adorable Halloween party picks at Home Goods. Endless possibilities, but I definitely see some festive cupcakes in our near future.
Loves these haunted house paper plates for lunches and snacks. And I couldn’t pass up this little wooden Halloween tic-tac-toe game. They girls love games.
