Wood Slab Cake Stand

As you already know I love a good DIY project, but even more so when the project has a sentimental attachment too. I have had a pile of untreated wood slabs in our garage let over from our wedding a little over a year ago. Even better, they were cut from my grandparents property in the country! So special, right?! I finally decided to try and work them into our house somehow, and came up with the idea to try and make one into a cake stand. It turned out so well I think I will make a few more!
