You’ve heard people say it before, there is real power in paint. It can transform the walls of a room, or completely change a piece of furniture.  I always always always will give a discarded piece of furniture a second chance at life by slapping on a fresh coat of paint and seeing if it works. You really have nothing to lose by at least trying! I recently did a big time clean up of what I like to call my basement flea market (or a potential episode of Hoarders), and I had this little wood side table that I used for my record player and records back in the day that needed some love. So I gave it my attention.

The fun part of this little side table makeover is that it is part of a series called Behr Designer Stories that you can find over on the Behr website! I am thrilled to be working with them again (remember when I spent three solid days painting our main living area and kitchen?) and a great group of other designers too!

To see the full makeover, what paint I used, and how I transformed this table, head over to >>>  behr.com <<< now and check it out! AND, there’s more! Scroll down to the bottom on this post and enter in to win a $50.00 Home Depot Gift Card!

I have an entertainment center/TV stand (about the size of a dresser) that I want to paint in order to update it. It is not high-quality wood (bought at a big box store years ago), but the shape is adorable, so I’m not sure how it will take the paint. If you have any suggestions, I’d love them. I’ll also snoop on your blog to make sure I didn’t miss a post about this somewhere.

Thank you for your continued inspiration!
