Hey guys! Just wanted to pop in and let you know I’m over at Live Laugh Rowe today sharing some DIY Farmhouse Frames! Recently my mom and I found some old white chippy wood from a torn down farmhouse, and naturally I needed to buy a few bundles of it. When it comes to anything that has potential to be an awesome project, I have a hard time passing it up! Not to mention I really love that a piece of someone else’s home is now a part of mine. I just think that is worth the buy alone. I also chat a little bit about my “struggle” when it comes to buying things just to buy them. I think a lot of people can relate! Sometimes we live by the what’s here today is gone tomorrow kind of mindset, but that can get you into trouble! So head on over to Live Laugh Rowe and leave Kelly and I some love over there! Have a great day!
Do you have instructions for this project? How can you be sure with old wood that the paint isn’t leaded? Thanks!
I do! You can find them over at Live Laugh Rowe here: http://livelaughrowe.com/diy-farmhouse-frames/
Also, I know you can buy kits that test for lead if you want to be sure the old wood isn’t leaded 🙂
