I remember the first blog I ever started following. It was years ago, and I really didn’t even know that home decor blogs even existed. I would visit this particular blog almost daily and waited ever so
impatiently for new posts so I could take a peek into her beautiful home. I was so nosy when it came to seeing how people decorated, so someone openly sharing theirs with me felt almost like a secret that nobody else knew about. Her blog played a huge role in why I started Little Glass Jar. I wanted to document how we are turning our house into a place we are proud to call home, and if people want to follow along, that just makes the experience even better!
Guys. Everything Home Magazine is here!!! Our premiere issue is ready for you to read! Our team has worked so hard these last few weeks, months even, to bring you so much creativity to one space! Every article is full of inspiration and ideas brought to you by some of the most talented bloggers and Instagramers around. You do not want to miss out! When I sat down to read it, I couldn’t stop. I have followed some of these talents for a while now, and getting to read actual articles written about them and their work was truly a treat. I think our team did a great job telling their stories and sharing their homes, shops, projects, and so much more! If you are totally in the dark about what I am talking about, check out [this] post!
I am one of the contributing writers for the “Ready, Set, DIY” column, and my feature for our November issue is the lovely and very talented ladies of The Collected House. It was such a pleasure working with them and I am so so excited to share their style with all of you! Every room they decorate and every project they have done has me swooning!!!
Happy Friday!!! It was Farmhouse Fall Tour of Homes week and I am just blown away by the talented group of ladies I teamed up with this year! If you haven’t checked all of the tours out yet, please do! All of the links are listed in my last blog post. Today I decided I would do a mini round up of a few of my favorites from this week. So much inspiration in these ladies homes, and they are just the sweetest bunch! Go! Leave them some love!
In other news, starting today I am off work for nine entire days! I am beside myself! No obligations to attend to, just a solid week of doing whatever I want to do! Which means, projects projects projects! Seriously, my list is long! Keep up on my instagram if you’d like, I have a feeling I might be overgramming during this staycation. In the meantime, lets see what I’ve been loving all week! It’s Friday, I’m In Love!
Fridays are the best, aren’t they?! It’s weekend time my friends! I’m off work today and in the country for a big family wedding! Weddings and baby showers have legitimately taken over my life since August, and once they end we are right into the holidays! I love being busy. I feel like I work the best and am more organized when I can’t even think straight. It makes no sense, but it works somehow. Recently I was super excited to find that Target was carrying the Day Designer planners, and I think it has seriously changed my life! After a year of blogging and having no editorial calendar to go off of, I now cannot believe how I didn’t go crazy! Organization in key!
Moving on to all of the lovely, prettiness I have found this week! Obviously I am addicted to Pinterest like the rest of you, so you can find all of my Friday post pictures on mine if you want to pin them! If only I have the hours to spend on there! I would probably never put my phone down! It’s Friday, I’m In Love! Enjoy!
Happy Labor Day weekend! It’s Friday so you know what that means! I truly love these roundups of all the inspiration I stumble across and am loving. It sparks so many thoughts and ideas that help motivate me to keep working on our house so it is a place I am so so proud of. Every project we finish brings us a little bit closer to the end result. But who am I kidding! When it comes to interior design I don’t believe anything is really ever finished. You move things around, tweak things here and there, add or take away, your style evolves, and on and on. Every aspect of this process excites me. I love trying to find the perfect piece for each inch of our house. I love seeing my vision for a room actually happen. And I cannot wait to start showing you these rooms when I consider them done…for now that is.
Happy weekend!!! I think I wake up singing The Cure on this day every week. You do know that is where I got the name for this blog series, right!? …It’s Friday, I’m in Love! If not, do yourself a favor and YouTube it! And I’ll go ahead and apologize now for it getting stuck in your head for the rest of the day. It’s such a happy song! Anything 80’s is my favorite. Except maybe 80’s home décor. I’ll pass on that one!
Our weekend plans include projects galore. It’s our last “free” weekend until like November…seriously. We are taking full advantage, staying home, and getting things done. Baby showers, wedding showers, weddings, and lots of other family events are coming up through fall and I am super excited about it all! I love having a jam packed schedule, but it’s days like today that I love the most. Enjoy your weekend, and all of this beauty below.
