I’m all smiles that spring is almost here! Granted it’s still sporadically snowing here in St. Louis. Make it stop! But I see sunshine and blooming trees in our near future my friends. I need to be outside already! Who’s with me? Until then, I am super excited to give you a glimpse at how myself and a great group of my blogging friends are getting ready for the upcoming, fresh new season. I am so happy I get to share these talented ladies and their beautiful spring homes with you!
You guys. It’s finally, officially fall! October is hands down, without a doubt, my all time favorite month ever ever ever! Can you sense my pure obsession here? I mean obsessed is an understatement. The weather, the trees, the food, pumpkin flavored everything, the fall bucket lists. I could really write an entire post about this, but it might get really annoying. Or maybe you love it as much as I do? I thought so. What’s not to love! It also just so happens, us bloggers love to invite you into our homes to see how we celebrate and decorate for this lovely season. And today you are getting super lucky, because you are getting not one, but twelve (technically thirteen) fall blog tours here! So let me welcome you to Finally Fall Home Tours 2016!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!!! Christmas time! It’s also time again for you to grab a cup of hot cocoa, cuddle up in a cozy blanket, and enjoy all of the lovely Christmas Home Tours that have been going on recently here in the blogging world. I am super excited to have teamed up with some of my favorite ladies again to bring you our Farmhouse Christmas Home Tour. I participated in my first fall tour with them back in October that you can find [here]. More than sharing my home with all of you, I encourage you to go and visit all of theirs as well! Who doesn’t love being nosey and getting to peek inside other peoples houses?! I know I am not alone in this! I promise you will absolutely be inspired and it will put you in the holiday spirit!
I cannot think of a better way to celebrate the first day of fall than this! When I first started reading home décor blogs my absolute favorite time of the year was when all of the Fall Home Tours would begin. [Because I am fall obsessed, in case you didn’t already know…since I tell you every chance I get…] I am so thrilled to now actually be sharing my own! I have teamed up this year with 14 other amazing and talented bloggers to bring you our Farmhouse Fall Tour of Homes 2015. This week has already been so much fun touring all these lovely ladies beautiful homes! I love that I get to take a peek inside all of their spaces to see how they all decorate for my favorite season in their own way. So if you are like me and you slowly drive past peoples houses to see if you can get a glimpse inside a few open windows, in a very non-creepy way, this is so much easier! I just adore them all, and I really hope that you take the time to go look for yourself! They will not disappoint!
I am known to have too many projects going on at one time. I have been talking a lot lately about how I am giving our office a makeover, but this past weekend we painted our guest bedroom and now my focus has shifted a little towards working on it instead. I just wanted to share a few pictures with you because I am really excited where it is headed. Before, it was very dark, with an overwhelming amount of brown. I wanted to brighten it up a lot, so we went from taupe on the walls to a very light gray, and that alone changed the entire room. I have a few pieces for the walls that I still have to order, and maybe a few other items to add here and there, but I am already in love with it. Let me know what you think!!!
Guys. It’s my very first blog post!!!
I cannot explain to you how excited I am about starting Little Glass Jar. I have a huge smile on my face right now as I write this. I really do! I wanted to start this blog for the purpose of it being my creative outlet. A place I can come and share all of my design ideas, house updates, DIY Projects, repurposed furniture, flea market deals, Goodwill makeovers, organization tips, new recipes, and any other inspiration I find. I am certainly not a professional. I am learning as I go! However, one thing I do know is that I have an absolute passion for interior design. It really does consume my brain. I am always looking for ways to update my home and make it a space I love to spend my time. I’ve enjoyed and learned so much from following some incredibly talented bloggers, and I hope to become a part of it all! Please feel free to leave comments, ideas, suggestions…whatever you want! I cannot wait to hear from you all!
